hi, my friends speaker on her iphone 3gs import stopped working. she took it to a local shop and they said they could not fix it. is there a known cure for this problem.

One of my friends had experienced the same problem. Then he took it to an Apple Store and they repaired it. The best thing to do on this case is sending it to an Apple Store, but if you're on the USA, the best place to send is to the MacMedics: http://www.macmedics.com/
